Shirley Smith is a Navajo artist born in the Gallup, New Mexico area,
but now lives with her husband and family in Cohone, Colorado.
Shirley is one of the best artists in the horsehair pottery field.
Each of her pottery pieces is unique due to her creative etching. This
horsehair pot has a blend of red, purple, lavender, and black around the
neck and body of the pot. She then has etched a unique pattern all
around the pot. The piece of pottery pictured here will be the one
shipped. Each piece of pottery is one of a kind and will be marked
